Sometimes we use terms that differ from the way that others use them, or the way that they're put on Pluralpedia. Here are some of those terms:Sector: A semi-arbitrary group of about 5 headmates. Our entire system is split up into sectors in order to make organization easier. On some layers, these are also called zones, areas, or regionsLeader: Someone appointed to help run a specific thing, be it the system itself, a specific layer, or a sector/subsystem. This person does their best to meet others' needs and offer supportShard: Our term for fragments. We use it pretty much constantly(Will add to this as we come across things we use differently from others)
Keeping a DNI list is hard. We'll put it this way:We support pretty much all identities, non-traumagenic systems, and nuanced media. We don't support the romanticization or glorification of real-life harmful behavior. That said: MAPs, zoos, and similar people/"communities" are not okay in our book*. Kindly leave us alone if you align with those terms or communities.*: Building communities that make jokes about preying on kids is gross. If you're struggling with these paraphilias and are trying to get help, you're fine. Due to previous experiences, though, we're still not comfy around people who call themselves a MAP or align with those communities. Struggling with pOCD or thoughts of that nature is one thing, calling yourself a MAP and making it part of your identity is another.
- Don't treat our fictives as if they're one-to-one copies of their source counterparts
- Relatedly, do not assume that you personally know our fictives just by sharing a source media
- Do not try to force our littles away from topics you deem are too "mature". We will handle this ourselves unless otherwise stated
- If you introject our members, do not use our personal art or copy our descriptions without asking first, especially if we aren't close. We will cut you off without warning for doing this.
- Relatedly, don't expect to get to know private things about us just because you have factives of us
- Do not pry about our exomemories, triggers, or traumas. We will share these things when we feel comfortable doing so
- Flirting is usually fine (as long as you're an adult), just be sure to check member boundaries first
